Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has responded after TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis asked her to become the godmother of their unborn child during a livestream. The request came during a conversation between the singer and the social media couple, who recently announced their pregnancy.
Tiwa said she would need to pray and seek God’s approval before accepting the responsibility. She explained that she believes important decisions should be guided by God’s will, adding that she would only proceed if she felt the decision was right.
Meanwhile, Peller has encouraged Yoruba and Igbo people to consider relationships with partners from other ethnic groups. He argued that limiting marriage choices to people from one’s own ethnic background could mean missing opportunities to experience different cultures and perspectives.
