Former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Jumoke Akinjide, has announced her return to active politics ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Her return was announced in a statement issued on her behalf by her Special Assistant, Olatundun Gabriel, on Tuesday. The statement thanked her supporters for their loyalty and prayers over the years, adding that her renewed political journey had begun under the slogan, “Jumoke is coming – Renewed Hope 2027.”
Akinjide also declared her support for President Bola Tinubu and Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State. The statement urged her supporters to remain united and committed as she prepares to resume political activities.
