President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has prayed for Nigeria’s diversity to become a source of prosperity, unity, peace and sustainable development for the benefit of all citizens.
Tinubu made the prayer on Sunday in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, while hosting members of his delegation to dinner. According to a statement by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the President urged Nigerians to embrace peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding and a shared commitment to national development.
He also prayed for divine guidance for the country’s leaders and protection for Nigerians at home and abroad. Chairman of BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, were among those who offered prayers for Nigeria and expressed support for the President’s commitment to national unity and prosperity.
