Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu, has urged Nigerians not to vote for Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi in the 2027 general elections.
She made the appeal on Thursday during the launch of the Iyaloja General Movement (IGM) for Renewed Hope Initiatives at Eagle Square, Abuja. She argued that electing either opposition candidate would reverse the progress she believes has been made under her father’s administration.
Defending the government’s policies, she acknowledged that Nigerians were experiencing hardship but maintained that the situation would improve with time. She described the current economic challenges as a difficult period, insisting that the eventual results of the policies would justify the sacrifices.
