Nigerian actor Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A, has revealed that he and his wife, Bamike “Bambam” Olawunmi, were not speaking for two weeks before he proposed to her. He shared the revelation during an interview with his wife, explaining that they were having disagreements before she informed him that she was pregnant.
Teddy A said the pregnancy made him reflect on his responsibilities and decide to step up as a partner and father. Bambam also dismissed claims that her husband married her only because of the pregnancy, insisting that their marriage was based on love and that she could not have forced him to marry her if he did not want to.
The couple, who met through Big Brother Naija, held their traditional wedding in Ogun State on September 7, 2019, and their white wedding in Dubai on November 16, 2019. They have two children. Bambam previously revealed that she experienced complications during her first childbirth and later battled postpartum depression.
