Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has claimed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) paid him to organise rallies in support of President Bola Tinubu. The singer made the claim in a video shared on his Instagram story while discussing his finances and political activities.

Portable said he had previously struggled financially and was unable to give money to people on the streets as he used to. He claimed that his financial situation changed after receiving payment for his involvement in rallies supporting Tinubu.

The singer also said the alleged payment had strengthened his support for the president and left him with enough money to resume giving money to people around him. Portable said he was now “fully supporting Tinubu” after receiving the payment he claimed was made for the political activity.
