Nigerian social media personality Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, popularly known as Jaruma, has reportedly been taken to the National Hospital, Abuja, after developing a breast-related health concern while in police custody.
According to a report by SaharaReporters, the influencer had been detained since Monday over online claims concerning an alleged rift between Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, and a woman Jaruma described as one of his girlfriends. A source familiar with the matter reportedly said the investigating police officer took her to the hospital on Saturday after she was found to require medical attention.
The source expressed concern about Jaruma’s condition and called on the relevant authorities to ensure her health and welfare were protected. However, the reported connection between her health concern and the length of her detention has not been independently established.
