Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s camp following a reported accident involving a campaign bus. Reacting to a viral video of the incident on Instagram, the businessman questioned the apparent lack of emergency medical support, saying, “They bought campaign buses and jeeps but forgot to buy ambulances. Now that an accident has happened, how will they transport the victims to the hospital?” He also accused politicians of prioritising luxury vehicles over properly equipped hospitals and essential services.
Meanwhile ,Isaac Fayose has defended his recent meeting with Seyi Tinubu, the President’s son, and Joaquin, son of Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, following criticism from Nigerians. Some critics accused him of betraying the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, after photos and videos of the gathering circulated online. In response, Fayose maintained that personal relationships should not be confused with political loyalty and insisted that socialising with the families did not mean he had joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Reaffirming his political position, Isaac Fayose said he still supports Peter Obi and wants Tinubu to leave office in 2027. He argued that respecting the President and his son does not require him to abandon his political beliefs or treat their relatives disrespectfully. His comments highlight the distinction he draws between personal relationships and political disagreements as debate continues over his recent social interactions with members of the President’s and FCT Minister’s families.
