Nigerian businessman Isaac Fayose has urged Nigerians to vote President Bola Tinubu out of office in the 2027 general elections, criticising the country’s economic situation and the widening gap between the rich and the poor. In a video shared on Facebook, Fayose argued that wealth should circulate through the economy rather than remain concentrated among a few people.
Isaac Fayose also criticised the state of Abuja, claiming that economic activity had declined and that even wealthy Nigerians still faced challenges involving healthcare and personal security. He called on citizens to work together to remove the All Progressives Congress (APC) government at the next election.
In a separate video, Fayose expressed confidence that Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, could win the 2027 election regardless of the level of support he receives from the South-East. He criticised Igbo supporters of other political parties and argued that no Igbo politician apart from the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu had achieved what Obi had accomplished politically in the past 40 years.
