Former Defence Minister Gen. Theophilus Danjuma led political leaders from the Northeast and Northcentral on a solidarity visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja.
Danjuma said their visit was motivated by improved security in their regions and the Tinubu administration’s contributions to community development. They also discussed political cooperation, security and other issues affecting their communities.
The delegation included Plateau Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Taraba Governor Agbu Kefas, former House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara, Defence Minister Gen. Christopher Musa and APC National Chairman Nentanwe Yilwatda. Dogara said they were seeking ways to strengthen political support for Tinubu as elections approach.
