The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced that its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will campaign across all 36 states ahead of the 2027 general election. Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication for the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, made the announcement during an interview on ARISE News.

Shaibu said the campaign would extend beyond rallies in state capitals to include town hall meetings, community engagements and visits to local government areas and villages. He added that the activities would allow Atiku to interact directly with Nigerians and hear their concerns about the country’s economic challenges.

The ADC spokesman dismissed suggestions that Atiku’s campaign would focus mainly on northern Nigeria, insisting that economic hardship affects citizens across the country. He expressed confidence in the former vice-president’s chances, claiming that the campaign would seek support nationwide as the party prepares for the 2027 election.
