A Nigerian man has cried out over severe flooding in his community, saying he is willing to sell his house, which he claims is worth over ₦100 million, for just ₦5 million.

He said he bought the land for ₦25 million and spent over ₦120 million building the property. According to him, worsening floods have forced several neighbours to abandon their homes.

The man also claimed that dangerous animals, including a crocodile and a python, have become a threat in the area. He appealed to the state government to urgently intervene and rescue residents affected by the flooding.

Rivers State: “I Bought This Land For ₦25 Million And Built The House With Over ₦120 Million, But I Want To Sell Everything For Just ₦5 Million. I Can’t Live Here Anymore. All My Neighbors Have Left Because Of The Flooding And It’s Getting Worse.”~Man Says👀 pic.twitter.com/vAlCw2Ighx
