Nigerian actress and DJ Dorcas Shola Fapson, popularly known as Ms. DSF, has said people who cannot afford to raise children should reconsider having them. She shared her opinion during a recent episode of the In My Opinion podcast, arguing that financial hardship can make life difficult for both parents and their children.
Ms. DSF cited her cousin, who has five children and frequently seeks financial assistance for school fees and feeding. She questioned the decision to have children without the financial means to provide for their basic needs, describing the situation as unfair to the family.
The actress said she grew up in a humble home but does not want her own children to experience the same circumstances. She urged prospective parents to consider their financial capacity before deciding to have children.
