Anthony Ehilebo, Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communications to Seyi Makinde, has predicted that his principal will defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. In a post on X on Thursday, Ehilebo claimed that Nigerians were dissatisfied with the Tinubu administration and would reject his bid for re-election.
Ehilebo also predicted that Makinde would defeat Tinubu in Lagos, which is widely regarded as the president’s political stronghold. He argued that voters had seen what he described as the administration’s failures and were ready for a change. His remarks represent the campaign aide’s prediction ahead of the 2027 election.
Meanwhile, Makinde has appointed former Minister of State for Aviation Felix Hassan Hyat as Director-General of the National Campaign Management Committee for the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation. Former Minister of Women Affairs Inna Ciroma was named Deputy Director-General for Administration, while Dr Anthony Aziegbemi was appointed Deputy Director-General for Operations.
