A Nigerian secondary school teacher has shared a hilarious story about a Junior Secondary School 2 (JSS 2) student who allegedly paid an okada rider ₦1,000 to pretend to be his father after being caught skipping classes. The teacher, identified as @AdageorgeA on X, said she instructed the student to bring his father to school before he could return to her class.
According to the teacher’s account, the JSS 2 boy arrived the next morning with a man wearing an oversized suit who apologised for the student’s behaviour and promised to discipline him at home. However, the teacher soon recognised the supposed father as the motorcycle rider who regularly transported her to school.
The teacher said the rider eventually recognised her, shouted “Aunty Teacher!” and ran away, exposing the unusual arrangement. The story has sparked amusement on social media over the student’s creativity, although the incident remains based on the teacher’s account and has not been independently verified.
