Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has revealed that he would not consider dating a woman who works in the Nigerian movie industry. Anuku made the comment while speaking on the Honest Bunch Podcast, explaining that he has become uncomfortable with some of the lifestyles and activities he associates with the industry.
The actor said flirtation within the sector has made him cautious about pursuing a romantic relationship with someone working in Nollywood. He also questioned how some people now gain entry into the industry, contrasting it with what he described as the screening processes actors experienced earlier in his career.
Anuku said he would rather seek a partner outside the entertainment industry because he finds it difficult to determine whom he can trust within the sector. His comments reflect his personal view of relationships and the changes he believes have taken place in Nollywood over the years.
