An Indian national has been killed and several others injured in separate attacks targeting King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and Saudi Aramco’s Shaybah oilfield in Saudi Arabia. Indian and Saudi authorities confirmed the incidents on Thursday, following renewed drone and missile threats against critical infrastructure in the kingdom.

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh confirmed that one of its citizens was among two people killed in the airport attack, while two other Indian nationals were injured. Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation reported eight injuries in the incident and said airport operations had resumed after authorities assessed the damage and inspected the facilities.

In a separate incident at the Shaybah oilfield, The country’s Ministry of Energy said air defences intercepted a drone, but falling debris caused casualties. Two foreign residents, identified as Filipino and Nepali nationals, were killed, while an Indian and a Pakistani were injured. Authorities are working to establish further details about those affected and notify their relatives.
