Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has defended her continued support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying her political stance is behind much of the criticism directed at her. She made the remarks during an interview with comedian and content creator Isbae U on his podcast, Curiosity Made Me Ask.
Eniola Badmus said she remains committed to supporting Tinubu despite negative reactions from some Nigerians. She maintained that public criticism would not make her abandon her political choice, reaffirming her position in support of the president.
The actress also argued that democracy gives people the freedom to support their preferred candidates and political parties. She said she does not condemn people for backing politicians she does not support and believes everyone should be allowed to make their own political decisions.
