ValueJet has announced plans to resume daily flights on its Lagos-Asaba and Asaba-Abuja routes from November 20, 2026, ahead of the Christmas and end-of-year travel season.

The airline said the resumption would provide passengers with more travel options as Nigerians prepare to reunite with family and friends during the festive period. Managing Director Omololu Majekodunmi said the decision was aimed at making holiday travel easier and strengthening connections between different parts of the country.

ValueJet said the move forms part of its efforts to expand domestic operations, with its network already covering destinations such as Port Harcourt, Jos, Owerri, Calabar, Benin and GWI-Iperu. The airline also operates regional flights to Accra, Banjul, Cotonou and Malabo, while recent additions of Boeing 737NG aircraft are expected to support its expansion plans.
