Nollywood actor Uche Odoputa has recounted the painful experience his family has endured since his father, Kenneth Odoputa, was kidnapped and killed in Imo State in 2022.
The actor revealed that his family paid ransom for his father’s release, but the kidnappers still killed him and his friend, Raphael Ojukwu. He shared the experience in a statement posted on his Instagram page.
Uche Odoputa said the incident left his family with years of grief, particularly his mother and siblings. He also disclosed that the tragedy affected his health and well-being, adding that his faith in God has helped him through the difficult period.
