France midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni has named three players he believes deserve consideration for the 2026 Ballon d’Or. The Real Madrid midfielder selected fellow France internationals Kylian Mbappé, Michael Olise and Ousmane Dembélé during an interview with France 24.
Tchouaméni praised Mbappé for what he described as an exceptional season and also highlighted Dembélé’s performances for Paris Saint-Germain, including his Champions League success. He also included Bayern Munich winger Olise among his three choices.
The 2026 Ballon d’Or winner is scheduled to be announced on October 26. Tchouaméni did not name one definitive winner, instead highlighting the three France teammates he believes deserve recognition for their performances.
