Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been suspended for 30 days and fined €255 by the Portuguese Football Federation after leaving the national team’s camp in Denmark during the September international break. Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed the decision in a post on X.

According to Romano, Ronaldo had suggested accepting punishment after apologising for his departure. The incident reportedly followed tensions with head coach Jorge Jesus ahead of Portugal’s UEFA Nations League fixture against Denmark.

The suspension is expected to allow Ronaldo to return to the Country in November international fixtures, subject to his selection. However, the report did not provide further details about the federation’s official announcement or the specific terms of the punishment.
