Senegalese music legend Youssou N’Dour has thrilled audiences with a live performance at Goalkeepers Dakar 2026, bringing attendees to their feet during the event.
The event, held on October 29, 2026, brought together global leaders, changemakers and young people to discuss how artificial intelligence can help create a more equitable future. Amid conversations about the opportunities and challenges of using AI to advance progress, the gathering also featured music and entertainment.
Youssou N’Dour, who helped develop the popular Senegalese music genre known as Mbalax, delivered one of the event’s special performances. The singer and politician previously served as Senegal’s Minister of Culture and Tourism.
