The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is reportedly experiencing exhaustion following a demanding schedule of political engagements and frequent travels. His campaign team has, however, dismissed concerns about his health.
Speaking on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Tuesday, the party’s Deputy Campaign Spokesperson, Sam Omale, said Obi’s frequent travels and back-to-back engagements had left him physically tired. He noted that the former Anambra State governor sometimes travelled between international locations and Nigerian cities within a short period.
Omale insisted that there was nothing wrong with Peter Obi’s health and said members of his team were encouraging him to slow down and get enough sleep. He also maintained that the exhaustion would not disrupt the party’s political activities.
