Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has claimed that she financially supported her colleague, Eniola Badmus, when she struggled to secure acting roles. Bakare made the allegation during an interview with Oyinmomo TV amid their ongoing public feud.
According to Laide Bakare, she regularly gave Badmus money at a time when some filmmakers were allegedly unwilling to cast her because of her body size. She said she stood by her colleague during that difficult period in her career.
The latest claims follow Bakare’s criticism of Badmus over her reaction when her name was mentioned on comedian Isbae U’s show. Bakare also accused her colleague of repeatedly trying to damage her reputation publicly, despite allegedly warning her to stop.
