Nigerian comedian and content creator Broda Shaggi, whose real name is Samuel Animashaun Perry, has shared a glimpse of the shooting incident he survived in March 2026. The skit maker was reportedly shot while filming at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State.
Following the incident, Broda Shaggi sustained a gunshot injury to his leg and was initially taken to a hospital in Alakuko, Lagos, before being transferred to another medical facility in Ikeja. The Lagos State Police Command confirmed at the time that the incident had been reported by a private hospital.
In a video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, Shaggi was seen being rushed to the hospital with blood stains and a gunshot injury. He said the incident happened on March 9, describing it as a day he wished had never happened, and announced that he would share more details on Wednesday.
