England international Harry Kane and Spain’s Alexia Putellas have been named the men’s and women’s Ballon d’Or winners at the 70th edition of the awards ceremony in London on October 26.
Kane received the men’s award following his 2025-26 season with Bayern Munich, while Putellas won the women’s prize after helping Barcelona achieve a treble before joining London City Lionesses in July. The event was hosted by football presenter Kate Scott and former France international Thierry Henry.
Other winners included Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, who secured the men’s Young Talent of the Year award for a third consecutive time, and Vicky López in the women’s category. Luis de la Fuente and Pere Romeu won the coaching awards, while Unai Simón and Cata Coll were named the best goalkeepers in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively.
