The movie had its huge screening at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, on September 26, 2026.

The organisers originally targeted 50,000 people, but Guinness World Records officially recognised 51,000 qualifying viewers who watched the movie from beginning to end. That broke the previous record of 43,624 people, set by Felix Manalo in the Philippines in 2015.

So this wasn’t just a normal movie premiere — Black Market made history with the size of its audience.
