Nollywood actress Chita Agwu has announced that her 11-year marriage has legally ended following a court dissolution. She shared the news in a personal statement on social media, saying she was ready to begin a new chapter of her life.
Chita Agwu said she had chosen to move forward with peace, grace and dignity, adding that not every marriage ends as expected. She also stressed that people going through divorce deserve the freedom to rebuild their lives without judgment, ridicule or public humiliation.
The actress appealed to the public to respect her privacy and that of her former partner, explaining that she would not disclose private details about the divorce. She said she was choosing healing and personal growth as she moved into the next chapter of her life.
