Gospel singer Chidinma Ekile has revealed that she once left Nigeria and tried to secure permanent residency abroad before transitioning from secular music to gospel music.

Speaking at a recent EeZee Conceptz event, the singer explained that she had no intention of returning to Nigeria and was processing her residency papers while overseas. However, her plans did not work out as expected, forcing her to reconsider her future.

Chidinma disclosed that the CEO of EeZee Conceptz was the only person from Nigeria who consistently called her while she was abroad. After returning home, she decided to work with him, a move that eventually became part of her journey into gospel music.
