Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Policy Communications, Daniel Bwala, has challenged ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, his running mate Rotimi Amaechi, and NDC candidate Peter Obi to disclose whether their private businesses have made progress under the Tinubu administration.

Bwala also criticised those who interpreted Tinubu’s statement that prosperity in Nigeria would begin on October 1 as meaning Nigerians would immediately start experiencing prosperity from that date. He argued that government initiatives such as the NELFUND programme and new infrastructure projects should also be regarded as signs of economic progress.

The presidential aide cited the profits of a bank associated with Peter Obi as another example of prosperity and challenged Atiku, Amaechi and Obi to state whether their private ventures had recorded profits or progress over the past two years. Bwala made the remarks while defending the president’s economic policies and his comments on prosperity.
