Broda Shaggi Recounts Near-Death Experience After Stray Bullet Hit

Nigerian comedian and actor Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has shared details of a frightening incident in which he was hit by a stray bullet. In a video posted on his YouTube channel, the entertainer said the shooting happened on March 9, 2026, after he and his team completed a brand activation and were leaving the location.

Broda Shaggi recalled losing consciousness on the way to the hospital and later being transferred to another facility for urgent treatment. He said he became particularly worried when he discovered he could no longer move his leg, fearing the injury might affect the physical movements associated with his comedy character. As his pain reduced, he also reflected on the emotional impact of the experience and his demanding work schedule over the years.

The entertainer disclosed that he travelled to Dubai for surgery and gradually regained the ability to stand and walk without assistance. However, he said his recovery was still ongoing and that he continued to use crutches for support when necessary. Despite the difficulties, Broda Shaggi expressed gratitude that the incident had not led to a worse outcome.
