Ambassador-designate Femi Fani-Kayode has asked former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to stop sending him private messages, insisting that any further communication should be made publicly. He made the request in the concluding part of an article titled “To Waziri Atiku Abubakar: A Final Word for a Diminishing Star (Part 2),” published on X.
In the article, He accused Atiku of betraying political allies and cited statements attributed to former government officials and political figures to support his criticism. He also referred to accounts involving former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the 2003 presidential election, while questioning Atiku’s political judgement and relationships with past allies. These claims and accounts were presented by Fani-Kayode in support of his arguments.
He concluded by saying he would respond publicly if Atiku had anything further to say. He also expressed concern about how Atiku might react if he loses the forthcoming election, making remarks about the possibility of a mental breakdown. The comments form part of Fani-Kayode’s broader criticism of Atiku’s political record.
