Nigerian singer and rapper Zlatan, whose real name is Omoniyi Raphael, has shared the story of how he met his wife, Davita Lamai. The Zanku Records founder revealed that they first crossed paths during his first trip to London while he was trying to build his music career.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Zlatan explained that he approached Davita, asked for her phone number and expressed interest in seeing her again. However, she told him she needed to consult the person she had arrived with before making a decision. Their connection later grew as Davita supported him during his stay in London, including helping him with transportation and money-related needs.
Zlatan described Davita as his support system and said their relationship felt like part of a journey guided by God. The couple held their traditional wedding in Oniru, Lagos, on October 24, 2026. They are already parents to two sons, Shiloh and Benaiah, and their ceremony attracted several celebrities, including Davido, Teni, 9ice and Bella Shmurda.
