Nigerian comedian Woli Agba, whose real name is Ayo Ajewole, has reacted to the death of gospel singer ToluwaniSings, recalling the late musician’s concerns about Nigeria’s healthcare system. In a statement shared on Instagram, the comedian said the singer had repeatedly expressed worries about the reliability of medical services in the country.

Woli Agba disclosed that ToluwaniSings had considered travelling abroad for medical treatment because of the difficulties patients face when seeking proper healthcare in Nigeria. According to the comedian, the singer had spoken about these concerns on several occasions before his death.

Meanwhile, ToluwaniSings’ personal assistant, Babadunni Gbolabo, previously claimed that the singer slumped and was taken to eight hospitals in Ibadan but could not receive treatment. Gbolabo said the reasons given included the absence of doctors amid an ongoing strike, alleging that efforts to secure medical attention were unsuccessful.
