President Bola Tinubu has praised his son, Seyi Tinubu, for mobilising young Nigerians through the City Boys Movement to support his re-election bid. He commended the initiative during the inauguration of the movement in Abuja.
The Nigerian President said he had received several calls from people asking about Seyi’s political ambitions and the office he intended to contest. He explained that his son was supporting his father’s political cause rather than pursuing a personal political position.
The President praised Seyi for reaching out to young people, listening to their concerns and organising them without demanding a political title or government appointment. Hesaid he was proud of his son and the young people involved in the movement.
