Former APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Timi Frank, has warned INEC against rigging the 2027 general election, insisting that Nigerians would reject any attempt to manipulate the results.
Timi Frank, in a statement issued in Abuja, called for an urgent investigation into allegations of AI-generated names and photographs in the national voter register. He urged the commission to verify questionable entries and explain transparently how the register was compiled, warning that Nigerians could take their destiny into their own hands if the election was rigged.
Meanwhile, Frank has urged President Bola Tinubu to apologise to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over the Federal Government’s introduction of a 30-day petrol discount at NNPCL retail outlets. He argued that the intervention was similar to Atiku’s previously criticised proposal to restore fuel subsidies and questioned the government’s change of position on the policy.
