Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate Segun Olusemo, popularly known as Sheggz, has denied claims that he depended financially on his former girlfriend, Bella Okagbue, during their relationship. The pair met during the 2022 edition of the reality show and continued their relationship after leaving the BBNaija house before Sheggz confirmed that they had separated in January 2026.
The breakup later became public after Bella accused Sheggz of having a double personality and alleged that he owed her millions of naira and had made several promises that were not fulfilled. Speaking during a recent interview with Oyemykke, Sheggz rejected the allegations that he collected money from Bella and also denied being a “gigolo.”
Sheggz said both of them contributed financially to the relationship, while maintaining that he provided for Bella during their time together. He also said he had his own sources of income and described his former partner as someone he loved deeply, adding that he had provided her with a car and other support during their relationship.
