Actor Saidi Balogun has addressed criticism over his public support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign, telling those who disagree with his position to respect differing political views.
The actor recently shared videos of himself organising rallies in different parts of the country as part of activities supporting Tinubu’s second-term ambition. His involvement attracted criticism from some social media users.
Responding in a post on his social media page, Balogun urged his critics to allow others to express their political choices. He wrote: “Rest! Live and let live,” before adding prayers for his critics and wishing Nigeria well.
