Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message of encouragement to Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following the Georgian international’s ACL injury during the Champions League match against Barcelona. PSG confirmed that the 25-year-old injured his right knee and would undergo surgery, with the setback expected to keep him out for several months.
Ronaldo, whom Kvaratskhelia has admired since childhood, urged the winger to remain determined throughout his recovery. Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared the Portuguese star’s message on X, in which Ronaldo reminded Kvaratskhelia not to let the difficult moment undermine his confidence and encouraged him to keep looking ahead.
Kvaratskhelia also expressed his disappointment, admitting he had not expected the injury after preparing for the Barcelona encounter. The winger said he had often prayed to finish matches without injury but vowed to work hard during rehabilitation and return stronger for the supporters who have stood by him.
