Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has taken a swipe at Nigerians who question the progress made under President Bola Tinubu’s administration, suggesting they need “Bola Tinubu eyeglasses” to see the changes taking place.

She made the remark on Friday during the inauguration of the Abuja headquarters of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, a group mobilising support for the president’s re-election in 2027. She also cited changes at Nigerian airports as evidence of progress.

Oluremi Tinubu said she hoped to leave the Presidential Villa in 2031 and enjoy a better Nigeria in her later years. She subsequently commissioned the movement’s headquarters and expressed support for her husband’s re-election bid.
