Popular Nigerian TikToker Peller has rejected calls for him to divorce his wife, Jarvis, following their public disagreement. During a social media livestream, the content creator said he was not prepared to end their marriage, citing the legal and financial consequences he believes could follow a divorce.
Peller claimed that divorcing Jarvis could expose him to a four-year prison sentence and require him to surrender 30 per cent of his property. He insisted that their marriage was not a publicity stunt, saying he had taken their court wedding seriously and had no intention of seeking a divorce.
Meanwhile, singer Tiwa Savage has responded to Peller and Jarvis’ request for her to become the godmother of their unborn child. The singer said she would pray and seek God’s approval before deciding whether to accept the request, explaining that she wanted to ensure the decision aligned with God’s will.
