Allied Peoples Movement (APM) chieftain Bisi Olopoeyan has criticised Seyi Makinde, claiming the party’s presidential candidate has little to offer in his campaign beyond mentioning President Bola Tinubu.
He made the remarks while reacting to Makinde’s call for Nigerians to vote for candidates who are physically strong and energetic. At an APM town hall meeting in Akure, Ondo State, Makinde had jumped down from the stage and challenged Nigerians to support candidates capable of doing the same.
In a video shared online, Olopoeyan described Makinde’s action as childish and questioned how jumping demonstrated the ability to govern. He urged the candidate to explain his plans for the country rather than focus on physical strength.
