Former President Goodluck Jonathan has received former All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman and former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje at his residence in Abuja. Ganduje paid a courtesy visit to the former president, with a video of their meeting circulating on social media on Wednesday.

The meeting comes amid growing political activities and consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections. It also follows Jonathan’s recent meeting with APC candidates from Bayelsa East, during which he expressed confidence in their ability to represent their constituencies.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has dismissed claims that its National Leader, Seriake Dickson, is working against presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate Rabiu Kwankwaso. The party said there was no secret or open agreement between Dickson and the APC, insisting that he chose to help build the NDC rather than join the ruling party.
