Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has urged Nigerians to embrace financial discipline by saving, planning and reinvesting in themselves and their work.
In a post on Instagram, Akindele shared the advice following her appearance at the FIN Tribe Finance Fair 2026, where she reflected on the importance of managing money responsibly.
She encouraged her followers to decide how much of their earnings should go into savings, reinvestment and personal spending before making financial decisions. She also admitted that managing money was not always easy, noting that she equally continued to work on improving her financial habits.
Funke Akindele urged those who had made poor financial decisions in the past to make better choices going forward, stressing the importance of saving, spending wisely and preparing for the future while enjoying the present.
