The family of late Nollywood veteran actor Chief Francis Duru has announced his burial arrangements, inviting relatives, friends, colleagues and well-wishers to join in honouring Francis life and legacy. The announcement was made on Monday through a statement published on the actor’s official Instagram page.
According to the schedule, a Service of Songs and Tributes will hold in Abuja on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Family Worship Center, Wuye. Another Service of Songs will take place on Thursday, December 10, at the late Pa Theophilus Ogide Duru’s family compound in Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano, Imo State.
The funeral and interment are scheduled for Friday, December 11, 2026, in Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano. The family also disclosed that additional memorial services are being organised by various associations across different states. The statement was signed by his son, Ebuka Duru, and sister, Anthonia Chenyi, who thanked the public for their support following his death.
