Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has explained that signing an artiste does not guarantee international fame or huge financial returns, noting that the music industry comes with its own risks and uncertainties.
The music executive made this known during a recent livestream with forex trader Habby Forex. Comparing music to forex trading, Don Jazzy said both involve risks, although he considers his other businesses less volatile than the foreign exchange market. He stressed that not every artiste signed to Mavin Records would achieve global success.
Don Jazzy added that he measures success by an artiste’s growth rather than fame alone. According to him, an artiste who continues to improve is making progress, even without becoming an international superstar. He also recently described letting former Mavin artiste Di’ja leave the label as one of the most difficult decisions of his career.

Very very true….the artist now has a lot of effort, strategies, and plan to put to work to achieve this.
