Chiamaka, daughter of late Nollywood actor Diewait Ikpechukwu, has appealed to the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to remove its social media post announcing her father’s death.
Chiamaka, popularly known as Chiamax, made the appeal in an emotional video shared on Instagram, insisting that she wanted to be the person to announce her father’s passing.
She also urged the guild and members of the public not to share her father’s pictures or posters and appealed to people not to call her during the difficult period. “Let me be the one to announce my papa’s death,” she said tearfully.
