Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has credited consistency for the growing audience of her movie productions, saying viewers now watch her films because of her identity as a filmmaker rather than the presence of established actors.
Bimbo Ademoye said she continued investing in the quality and scale of her productions despite rising costs and criticism. She recalled that one of her movies reportedly attracted 21 million views, while another recent release recorded five million views within 24 hours.
The actress encouraged aspiring filmmakers and content creators not to give up when their efforts appear unnoticed. She said audiences are often paying attention even when they do not immediately show it, adding that consistency played a major role in her success.
