The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has challenged President Bola Tinubu to disclose his actual destination as he prepares to travel to Makkah, Saudi Arabia, for the lesser Hajj pilgrimage.
In a statement, APM National Publicity Secretary Abubakar Yusuf urged Tinubu to remain in Nigeria and address the hardship facing citizens. He warned that the pilgrimage should not serve as a cover for other activities or distract from the country’s problems.
Yusuf also questioned Tinubu’s prospects in the 2027 presidential election, claiming the president could struggle to secure 25 per cent of votes in 12 selected states. He urged the president to focus on Nigeria’s challenges rather than leave the country.
